Chai Spice Porridge



Makes 4 portions

100g Jumbo oats 400ml milk of choice (I used Innocent almond milk) 1 x tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 x tsp ground ginger 1/4 x tsp ground cardamom 1/2 x tsp mixed spice 1/2 x tsp turmeric Tbsp runny honey Handful of raisins or sultanas

Add all of the ingredients in to a saucepan and cook over a low/ medium heat, stirring occasionally, until you reach your desired consistency, (about 15 minutes).Loosen it with either more milk or hot water if it’s looking too thick. Serve with chopped pistachios and pomegranate seeds or chopped pear and walnuts.
